Notes
Gerhard Marx has developed a unique visual practice through his engagement with selected material practices. Through careful dissection and rearrangement, Marx opens a poetic and philosophical dialogue with his materials to create original drawings and sculptures. His work has been shown at international art fairs (Art Basel, Frieze London, FIAC, Art Basel Hong Kong, Art Basel Miami) and is held in numerous public and private art collections. Marx’s most recent solo exhibition, Spacial Imaginaries, Propositional Cartographies, opened at the Goodman Gallery London, 2021. He is represented by the Everard Read Gallery.
