About this Item
Bond is the brainchild of legendary Napa Valley winemakers Bill Harlan and Bob Levy and produced by the team at cult winery Harlan Estate. They first developed the idea of producing Cabernet Sauvignon from carefully selected ‘Grand Cru’ vineyard sites around the region in 1996. Each of the five small vineyards (3-5 hectares) offer a unique terroir that expresses the pinnacle of Napa Cabernet. A blend of all the sites was also launched alongside the debut release in 1999, and is aptly named The Matriarch.
ST. EDEN is based upon an 11-acre rocky knoll that is part of a beautiful estate located just north of the Oakville Crossroad. Eden is an historical reference to this region's designation on nineteenth century maps.

Critics Ratings
‘Not surprisingly, the 2007 St. Eden flirts with perfection. Another Pauillac look-alike, it offers up glorious aromas of cedarwood, creme de cassis, spice box, high class unsmoked cigar tobacco, roasted herbs and a hint of mocha. The complex aromas brilliantly conceal the long aging in new French oak. This compelling, singular, full-bodied, multilayered, sensational Cabernet Sauvignon can be drunk early (because of the flamboyance and unctuosity of the vintage), but promises to provide thrilling consumption in 30+ years.’ - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate, 99/100 (Dec 2010)
‘Racy and explosive on the palate, with soft curves and exceptional balance, the 2007 St. Eden dazzles from the very first taste. Still very young and quite dense, the 2007 has more than enough richness to drink well for many years to come. The 2007 captures the opulence and sensuality that is so typical of the wines of Eastern Oakville. Simply put, the 2007 St. Eden is a total knockout.’ - Antonio Galloni, Vinous, 98/100 (Nov 2017)
