Critics Ratings

La Roquète Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2000
‘70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. Medium ruby-red. Cherry and currant liqueur lifted by licorice. Sweet, smooth and moderately dense, with reasonably good flavor definition. Nicely concentrated and long, finishing with substantial but ripe tannins.’ - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous (Jan 2002)

La Roquète Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2005
‘Layers of exotic fig, boysenberry and loganberry fruit ripple across the lush, dense structure, while hints of red licorice, linzer torte, mesquite and plum sauce glide through the well-rounded finish. Drink now through 2025.’ - James Molesworth, Wine Spectator, 93/100 (Apr 2008)

‘Bright red. Intense red berry aromas are sharpened by dusty floral and mineral qualities. Pretty strawberry and raspberry flavors offer very good depth and refreshing acidity on the close.’ - Josh Raynolds, Vinous,  91/100 (Jan 2008)
