Victorian ruby, emerald and seed-pearl 15ct gold ring, maker's initials FD, Chester 1882
collet-set to the centre with a round-cut ruby flanked by four emeralds and seed-pearls, to a foliate engraved band, sizeM½; and an early 19th century garnet and gold locket pendant/brooch, centred by an oval hinged crystal locket and surrounded by collet-set oval and round-cut garnets, suspending a smaller circular garnet locket pendant, length approximately 45mm

Ruby, emerald and seed-pearl 15ct gold ring - gross mass: 1.7g
The shank is hall marked 625, 15 and with the maker's initials
The ruby and emeralds are showing wear and with inclusions. The 8 seed pearls are replaced. There is glue around two of the emeralds and around the seed-pearls
Garnet locket and pendant/brooch: Gross mass: 9.0g - CPM states the gold is 7.794ct
The pin is later and not gold The circular locket with oxidization to the reverse.
The garnets weigh a total of approximately 12cts
