The Foundry Wine Collection was established on a shoestring budget in 2001 by Chris Williams and his great friend James Reid. The brand has gained numerous accolades and awards since 2001. The wines are site specific, terroir defined wines, with the aim of producing wines that both Chris and James enjoy drinking.

‘Since 2009 from Voor Paardeberg fruit, a SA benchmark. Delicate 2015 our White Wine of the Year. Subtle lemon cream, green pineapple aromas & a soupçon of spice. Seamless, bright & pure, with a rounded mouthfeel thanks to judicious oaking (7 months, older French). ‘W.O. Voor Paardeberg. Fermented and matured for seven months in older French oak barrels. Yellow apple, stone fruit and green melon plus some leesy complexity on the nose.
