A pair of Chinese famille-verte vases and covers, Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century
each baluster body enamelled with a pair of phoenix amongst flowering peonies and scrolling foliage, the short neck with an iron-red diaper band, the cover similarly decorated, surmounted by a spire-shaped finial enamelled as a flowerhead, underglaze iron-red six-character mark, pinhead chip, 25,5cm high
