Notes
Rikhotso’s sculpture is identifiable by the artist’s distinctive use of exaggerated features, bright colours and hybrid forms. Although discernible as a standing male figure, the work’s elongated body and large front teeth imbue the work with a fantastical quality, and somewhat comical and pop cultural appeal.
