'Vibrant red. Assertive, mineral-accented red berry and cherry aromas are complicated by blood orange and fresh rose. Silky, palate-coating red fruit preserve flavors deliver solid punch and pick up a sexy spicecake character with air. The finish echoes the blood orange and leaves vibrant mineral and floral traces behind, eventually. 'The 2008 Dits del Terra displays higher acidity than normal due to the cool growing season in a normally warm site that typically shows the darker side of Priorat. Purple in color with a nose of lavender, Asian spices, incense, blackberry, and blueberry, on the palate it reveals a firm structure with fresh, lively acidity, intense flavors, lots of spice, and a pure finish.
