*A Chinese carved ivory needle case, Qing Dynasty, 19th century
profusely carved with dragons, butterflies and foliage and the initials 'HCN' in an oval cartouche with a rope border, with flowerheads to the top and base, 15,4cm long; and a pair of Chinese carved ivory tusks, late 19th/early 20th century, with figures at various pursuits in a landscape against a pierced diaper ground, the rim with stiff-leaf border, splits, hairline cracks, 7,5cm high, with a pair of hardwood stands, some damage, 3,2cm high
