About this Item
In 1962, Ridge made its first Monte Bello, and two years later its first zinfandel. Since that time, Ridge has championed single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare and exceptional vineyards where climate, soil, and variety are ideally matched. For more than six decades, Ridge has been recognized by top critics, chefs and peers for consistent quality and steadfast approach to winemaking. Ridge is the largest farmer of organically certified grapes in Sonoma County and the Santa Cruz Mountains Appellation.
Ridge Vineyards' Lytton Springs is another highly acclaimed wine, celebrated for its expression of Sonoma County's unique terroir and its consistent quality. This wine is a Zinfandel-based field blend, sourced from the historic Lytton Springs Vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County.

Critics Ratings
‘Lovely loamy, almost wet-pottery notes through the nose become more spiced and herbal on the palate. A lovely integrated mix of berries, barks, and spice – garrigue and fruits. Persistent acidity and quite a structural, stimulating palate. Lengthy.’ - Elaine Chukan Brown, jancisrobinson.com, 18/20 (Oct 2018)
