A Škrdlovice glassworks vase designed by Jan Beránek, 1980, pattern number 8044/35
cylindrical, the body with a cobalt blue core above six free-form bubbles, minute chip to the rim of the base, 27,2cm high
Notes
Beránek glassworks was nationalised during communist rule in 1948 and became Škrdlovice glassworks. Ownership was returned to the Beránek family in 1992 when the name reverted to Beránek glassworks. The factory closed in 2008 and no longer exists.
