Château Clinet is a small Pomerol property that has leapt to prominence in the last 15 years and now produces one of the most sought-after wines in the region. The 9-hectare vineyard lies at one of the highest points upon the renowned plateau at the heart of Pomerol, and is planted to predominantly Merlot, with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. Owned on Ronan Laborde and situated on plateau’s iron-rich clay soils, it received 100 Parker points in 1989 and 2009.

Ronan by Clinet is absolutely brilliant value for money and 2010 was a highly regarded vintage in Bordeaux, known for producing wines with excellent structure, concentration, and aging potential.

2010:
Ronan by Clinet 2010 is absolutely brilliant value for money and from one of the greatest Bordeaux vintages. Fruity, medium-bodied; flavours of cherry, blackberry, blackcurrant and plums; smooth and balanced. Ronan by Clinet is 100% Merlot grown in various vineyards around the Bordeaux region.
2011:
Merlot's dominance in the blend triumphs, producing a bouquet that exudes dark plums and cherries swathed in an aristocratic robe of fine oak and earthy whispers. On the palate, this 2011 Clinet from Chateau Clinet unfurls layers of complexity; cassis intermingles with hints of truffle, while graphite undertones anchor the ensemble in Pomerol's legendary terroir. Such intricacy is rarely achieved so harmoniously in challenging vintages like 2011.
