About this Item
Domaine Dujac was established in 1967 by Jacques Seysses when he purchased Domaine Marcel Graillet, a poor estate of only 4.5 hectares, and renamed it Domaine du Jacques. Overtime, the name evolved into Domaine Dujac – a playful moniker. Today, they hold around 14.5 hectares and cultivate 18.5 hectares in total. Buying parcels as they became available, the domaine expanded over the years and now owns some of the most exceptional holdings, including the Grands Crus of Echézeaux, Bonnes-Mares, Clos Saint Denis, Romanée-Saint-Vivant, Charmes-Chambertin and Clos de la Roche. Aiming for elegance, finesse and complexity, the quality of their seven Grands Crus is a testament to the domaine being one of the Burgundy’s leading producers.
Clos de la Roche is one of the most esteemed Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy, situated in the Morey-Saint-Denis appellation. It is known for producing wines of exceptional quality and complexity, with a distinctive expression of the Morey-Saint-Denis terroir.

'A great bottle just coming into its prime to prove the allure of this vintage. Lovely seamless texture and great, subtle undertow. Fabulous freshness and precision.' - Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, 18/20 (Jun 2017)
‘This is discreetly floral with an elegant, refined and dense nose of red berry fruit, earth and wisps of anise and clove that precede textured, fresh and mouth coating medium plus weight flavors that possess good richness and solid power, punch, depth and length. Though it would not be my recommendation, this is sufficiently forward that it could actually be drunk now with sufficient aeration.’ – Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, 92/100 (Jan 2010)
'Medium red. Brooding aromas of black raspberry and minerals; distinctly fruitier than the Clos-Saint-Denis. Then fatter, sweeter and more masculine in the mouth, with powerful fruit and a serious, mounting aftertaste. But this very young wine is less complex today than the Clos-Saint-Denis and can't match it for sheer back-end vibrancy.' - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, 93/100 (Mar 2009)
