Critics Ratings

'Rich and exotic and winning. Lots of alcohol and sweetness. A little brutal on the finish but there's no shortage of hedonistic appeal. Slight hint of coffee - something a little bit dry.' - Jancis Robinson MW, JancisRobinson.com, 17/20 (Nov 2008)

'(vines planted in 1910) Bright ruby-red. Knockout musky nose combines raspberry, minerals, game and a floral nuance; super ripe and rather full-blown for this cuvee Then wonderfully sweet but with solid minerally spine contributing shape and finesse. Extremely fine-grained and thoroughly ripe. Finishes with big, broad, suave tannins and outstanding persistence.' - Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, 92+/100 (Mar 2005)
