‘The Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Vergers 2011 has a refined bouquet with light honeysuckle and jasmine scents that unfold with time. The palate is crisp and fresh, quite compact at the moment with crisp citrus fruit, but it cuts away a little abruptly on the finish. ‘Bright yellow. Reticent nose dominated by crushed stone and menthol. Tightly wound but already quite nuanced, showing excellent acid/mineral cut to its flavors of lemon, hay and fresh herbs.
