Cabernet Sauvignon is the signature varietal of Stark-Condé and this particular wine is the bedrock of the winery. This award-winning Cabernet is blended with traditional Bordeaux varietals grown on the farm. This wine displays a rich palate, a long finish, and fine tannins typical of a Jonkershoek Valley wine.

'The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is actually blended with 7% Petit Verdot, 6% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc and sees 22 months in barrel, has an opulent pure bouquet with summer berry fruit and fig that is well-defined and blooms in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with a soy-tinged opening. This has a fleshy, smooth mouthfeel with a touch of piquancy toward the approachable, silky finish.
