the tapering ovoid body embossed with figures engaged in various pursuits, the side with a vacant cartouche and with bands of vertical fluting, the hinged cover surmounted by a lion finial, the side applied with a harp-shaped wooden handle and swan-neck spout, the footrim on four later ball feet, 720g
