the moulded circular tray top above a barley-twist and ring-turned column, raised on a moulded circular base with three turned bun feet

Notes
Teak and rosewood are not indigenous woods and arrived at the Cape via the VOC trade routes to Asia. These woods are found in early Cape furniture and predate the dominance of stinkwood and yellowwood.
